Marwen Narrative
Chicago’s marginalized youth face numerous challenges, including poverty, inadequate public services, and high levels of crime, which lead to continual struggles. Marwen provides a welcoming space where young people can connect with peers and teaching artists from around the city, offering opportunities to develop essential skills for becoming confident, empowered individuals. As a nonprofit, Marwen needed to raise awareness about their mission to secure the funding necessary to sustain their impactful programs.
We developed the Marwen Narrative, which effectively communicated the crisis facing Chicago’s marginalized youth, introduced Marwen’s mission and activities, and detailed the skills that the organization helps young people develop. This narrative was designed to engage potential donors and supporters, highlighting the vital role Marwen plays in the community and encouraging contributions to keep the organization thriving.
