Accessibility Public Page Redesign

Discover’s existing public accessibility page contained valuable information about their commitment to making Discover.com accessible for all users. However, the page needed enhancements to be more actionable and educational.

We redesigned the page to be more resourceful and purposeful by:

  • Leveraging recommendations from a competitive audit

  • Collaborating with our in-house DE&I team to ensure the language and design complied with Web Accessibility guidelines

Online Privacy Protection

In today's digital age, every online activity—from shopping with a credit card to browsing social media—leaves a digital footprint, raising concerns about online privacy and security. Personal data exposed during internet use can be exploited by hackers or collected by data brokers, leading to targeted advertising and other privacy invasions.

We developed the Online Privacy Protection experience, which enables users to safely and easily remove their personal information from websites that sell private data. Discover scans for the user’s information across 10 popular people search sites, and once the data is found, the user can effortlessly remove it, ensuring enhanced online privacy and security.

Student Card Hub

Updating graduation status and income is essential for Discover to provide higher credit limits and reduce attrition for Student Card cardmembers. However, there was no centralized location on Discover.com for students to update their info. This made it less likely for students to keep this information current, impacting the offers and benefits available to them.

We developed the Student Card Hub, a centralized platform where:

  • Student cardmembers can easily update their graduation status and income

  • Additional financial resources and educational content are provided

  • We convey that Discover supports them even after they graduate

FICO Redesign

Discover’s FICO page was outdated and didn’t align with the current style guide. An audit revealed accessibility issues on both browser and mobile platforms. Keeping track of their FICO score is important to customers, and we wanted to ensure their experience was seamless, interactive, and engaging.

We refreshed the look and feel of the FICO page for both app and browser to align with Discover’s current branding. This included updating fonts, graphs, tables, and CTAs, as well as ensuring all copy on the page and in FAQs was accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Web Accessibility guidelines.

 

Discover Card Benefits Landing Page

Discover cardmembers were often unaware of the numerous features and benefits that come with their card. Competitor websites typically lacked a cohesive and clear articulation of benefits, features, rewards, and offers. For larger offerings with multiple credit card options and banking services, this challenge was even more pronounced.

We created a comprehensive landing page where Discover cardmembers can explore all the benefits of their Discover card in one place. This clear and cohesive page allows users to easily understand and take advantage of the various features and rewards available to them.
